It's a weekend retreat where I plan all the details and you show up, ready to create just for the joy of creating.
With the Wandering Artist I'll be here to guide you through your
personal projects and find how it can bring you emotional,
creative and professional gains.

Hi, it's me, Sara! As mentioned, above, I have a passion for Personal Projects and I want to help others find that passion. Finding a joy in creating, just to create. Personal projects have made me the artist I want to be and I want to help other photographers and creatives find that same success. Want to know more? Three-Month Cohort
Introducing a three-month cohort to work on all things personal projects. Whether you’re wanting to start a personal project or feel stuck in the middle of one, this just may be the space for you. Enrollment is capped at 15 participants per cohort. Next round starts June 1, 2023.
Meet Me In Marfa
The Wandering Artist Retreat - Sept 14-17, 2023
It's back and we're headed to Marfa, Texas. An all-inclusive weekend planned by Sara, where all you have to do is show up and be ready to open yourself up to an incredible experience. Always lusting after time for creative freedom and experimenting, I feel it is extra important as a photographer and artist to get away, recharge, be inspired and meet other creatives.

A LOOK AT SOME OF MY PERSONAL PROJECTS
POLAROID SUMMER
Summer vibes of 2023 captured all on Polaroids. I documented the days with my kids, trips, events and all the little in between moments. The result? Nostalgia showcasing one of the best summers I've had.
MIRROR SELFIES
Back in 2015 I shot my first roll of film (as an adult) and took my first mirror selfie. I didn't even know this was a "project" until a couple years later when I was looking back and my work and saw the trend I had done for myself. But I realized it was more than a trend, it was the story of my life in these photos. I've continued my mirror selfies to document my life, motherhood, reclaiming my body after babies and finding my true self. This project is so important and special to me and I'm so grateful to have this project.
FIND YOUR RAINBOWS
In March 2020 I quickly realized I needed a project to help me get through the days of uncertainty in that time. Enter "Find Your Rainbows", my project to help find those pockets of joy in some very scary and uncertain days. I used a creative technique to help create the rainbow effect and the result is I have all these images that do exactly what I set out to accomplish. When I look back on these images I find and see the joy I hoped to capture and remember from those days.
