Steph and I worked together wayyyyy back in college and since moving back to Iowa, we've had the chance to reconnect! It's been the greatest, so when she reached out to get pictures of her girls, I couldn't say yes fast enough. We had so much fun planning the outfits and I knew the perfect spot in Des Moines for spring bloom pictures. We lucked out with the most beautiful evening for a family session and I'm so in love with how the the spirit of childhood was captured in her girls. It was also so special to make sure I got pictures of Steph being a mom with her girls - so often us moms aren't in the frame, so I made sure I got lots of Steph with her girls, being a mom, being their mom. What a special evening!
