Blind Doubles

Have you ever tried blind doubles? Blind doubles is a technique where you shoot the whole roll, wind it in camera, take it out, pull the leader out and then shoot over the whole roll again. I had taken the roll of florals and waited around until I found the right time to use it. I used half of it in the desert while at Joshua Tree and then the remainder in my studio doing portraits of my daughter and myself. The beauty in blind doubles is in the unknown. How will the images line up? What did I even shoot that first time through? What will happen?!? And sometimes, the truth is that you just get magic. Have you ever tried this way of shooting before? I definitely need to get another roll of blind doubles going in my camera!
