Michaela & Clara, a Mother & Child Session
There is something so very special about that bond between a mother and child, and I must say it's quite an honor to be able to capture it. I was meeting Michaela for an afternoon get together in Ames and the light was just too good to pass up a chance at capturing these two together. The way Clara holds her mom's finger, the way she ran to her, the magic in something as simple as a rainbow soccer ball.
There were smiles and giggles, and it wasn't hard to get caught up in soaking it all in. The best part? Michaela & Clara could soak it up. They played and laughed while I quietly snapped away; Clara didn't even realize there was a camera! It was perfect and simple, and the result? These timeless mother and child images.
